"No matter what your age or your life path, whether making art is your career or your hobby or your dream, it is not too late or too egotistical or too selfish or too silly to work on your creativity."
Julia Cameron
Julia Cameron is author of "The Artist Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity." In it she presents “a course in discovering and recovering your creative self.” She recommends the course be followed over 12 weeks. It includes daily journaling and guided exercises.
The Artist Sampler, a three week program, will present an overview of Cameron’s book with an opportunity to “play”, share stories, ask questions, do representative exercises, get a feel for the variety and range of Cameron’s ideas. Art background not required – no need to be able to draw a straight line! All that is required is a desire to tap into your own creativity for your personal fulfillment and an interest in exploring Cameron’s course.
During the final session it will be determined if a group wishes to commit to the 12-week “Artist Way” journey. Times and dates for the extended program to be arranged at that time.
